Color Pencil in a digital Studio Art
Objectives
Conceptual / Technical
Participants will learn to:
–Become familiar with techniques for using colored pencil
–Explore the application mixes and layering of colors
–Learn to use gum, hairspray, etc.
–Explore the use of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors of colored pencils and transfer primary color RGB (red, green and blue) and print process CYMK to the computer
–Develop a conceptual approach to understanding and making a three-
dimensional image by use of the line, letter, free forms, geometric shapes, both abstract and figurative
